Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. (Preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • 6+ years of engineering experience
  • An understanding of requirements for, and experience in, medical device development
  • Excellent C++/C# knowledge
  • Operating Systems: Linux
  • Familiarity with cardiac electrophysiology concepts and workflows is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Development/Process Tools: MS Visual Studio, Jira, Perforce
  • Experience developing robust software applications that address Cyber Security concerns
  • GUI development experience: Qt/QML
  • Experience with distributed embedded systems

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software prototypes that support cardiac electrophysiology workflows, including data visualization, signal processing, and user interaction
  • Collaborate with clinical experts, product managers, and UX designers to identify unmet needs and translate them into functional prototypes
  • Collaborate with team members to conduct feasibility studies and technical experiments to assess risk and inform product development decisions
  • Analyze clinical use cases and integrate feedback from stakeholders to refine prototypes
  • Make, recommend or justify critical technical decisions in product design. The decision should be based on broad investigation and testing
  • Document findings, technical insights, and recommendations for commercialization pathways
