Requirements

Candidates are required to have 10+ years of full-time experience developing microservices for a SaaS product using languages such as Go, Java, Scala, Kotlin, C++, Python, or Node.js, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. They should possess a deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability challenges, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies, and demonstrate the ability to scale backend systems through techniques like sharding and horizontal scaling.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Software Engineer, the individual will develop and maintain services to meet reliability and scalability demands, develop and enhance monitoring services, brainstorm and define new features collaboratively with multiple teams, obsess over learning and championing new technologies, constantly re-evaluate the product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability, act as a self-starter taking ownership of deliverables, use and contribute to the open source community, and possess excellent communication skills.
