Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, such as Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Software Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Extensive knowledge and experience with C# and .NET Core are required, along with experience developing applications in Linux and a preference for Angular. A deep understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and other architectural patterns is necessary, as is proficiency with source control management repositories like GIT or SVN. Strong unit testing skills, a good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, and expertise in troubleshooting issues are also essential.
The Sr Software Engineer will collaborate with other application developers to design, code, and maintain high-quality desktop applications within a scrum team setting, working with software teams to ensure architectural alignment with user requirements. They will maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate new software technologies, and write high-quality unit tests against mock objects. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, demonstrating success in collaborating in a fast-paced team environment, and delivering high-quality software products using agile development methodologies.
