🚀 Engineering at User Interviews: You will join a team deeply committed to customer interaction, creating exceptional user experiences, and integrating user feedback into all aspects of their work. This role offers the opportunity to build a product used by peers at world-class companies, fostering a unique and engaging work environment. The team operates in a pod structure, comprising a tech lead, PM, designer, and four engineers. This pod collaboratively determines project priorities, development methodologies, and execution strategies. Continuous communication is essential for building optimal solutions, and engineers are expected to actively participate in this process.

What You’ll Do

As a senior engineer on the team, you will:

  • Lead or play a key contributing role in the planning and delivery of projects.
  • Function as a full-stack engineer with an emphasis on backend development.
  • Utilize your expertise in backend engineering, databases, data modeling, and API design to shape the team's technical strategy.
  • Be prepared to undertake moderate to complex frontend work as needed to ship product.
  • Drive technical planning and delivery, including testing, QA, and release management.
  • Engage in the full product lifecycle and collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, PDs, data scientists, and UXRs.
  • Contribute to defining user requirements, providing feedback on designs, and analyzing user research studies.
  • Co-create and shape project scope (both product and technical) with product counterparts.
  • Participate in improving the broader engineering and product organization by contributing to technical guilds (e.g., React and Rails best practices).
