Requirements
Candidates must have over 7 years of enterprise platform engineering and management experience, including workspace management, security implementation, performance management, capacity planning, and vendor management. A minimum of 4 years of Slack Enterprise Grid experience is required, along with proficiency in Slack API, a strong security implementation background (access controls, DLP, monitoring, incident response, compliance), and experience with identity integration platforms like Okta. Familiarity with Python/Node.js, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities are also necessary. Responsibilities
The Senior Slack Platform Engineer will lead Slack Enterprise Grid architecture and strategy, design and implement security controls and integrations, and optimize platform performance and scalability. Responsibilities include developing automation and integration frameworks, creating platform standards and best practices, implementing Identity Spec 1.0 requirements, designing and enforcing DLP controls, managing external collaboration security, and monitoring platform security. The role also involves managing Slack Enterprise Grid administration, optimizing workspace configurations, implementing governance controls, maintaining platform reliability, designing integration patterns with identity platforms, developing automation frameworks, creating custom workflows, implementing monitoring solutions, and guiding bot development strategy.
