Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of solicitation requirements, including technical, management, cost, and compliance aspects (e.g., FAR/DFARS)
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis, develop win themes, and articulate value propositions
  • Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams (e.g., technical experts, subject matter experts, writers, editors, graphic designers)
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills for clarity, conciseness, and persuasiveness
  • Knowledge of proposal compliance, including formatting, page limits, and mandatory clauses
  • Proficiency in managing proposal schedules, milestones, progress tracking, and on-time submissions
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities in RFPs and develop detailed proposal outlines and compliance matrices

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate capture strategies for targeted opportunities, including competitive analysis, win theme development, and value proposition articulation, collaborating with capture managers, sales, and business development teams
  • Review and analyze complex RFPs to understand all requirements and identify risks/opportunities
  • Develop detailed proposal outlines and compliance matrices aligned with solicitation structure
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional proposal teams, assign roles/responsibilities, and manage team performance
  • Collaborate on developing compelling win themes and key messages that highlight Workday's unique value proposition
  • Contribute to writing, editing, and reviewing proposal content for quality and effectiveness
  • Ensure full compliance with all solicitation requirements, managing the compliance review process with contract managers and legal
  • Develop and manage the proposal schedule, track progress, and ensure timely submission
