Requirements

  • 5+ years of program (project) management experience
  • Experience managing hardware programs (similar to PlayStation consoles and peripherals)
  • Experience leading and managing multiple teams to track progress and provide overall project or company-level reporting
  • Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, JIRA Dashboard, and PPT to visualize situations effectively
  • Ability to connect information, identify challenges, and find solutions (problem-solving)
  • Experience working collaboratively with international members
  • Fluent in English for presentations and discussions
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (equivalent to JLPT N1 or higher)
  • Understanding of server-client systems (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of network services and applications (nice to have)
  • Programming experience in any language (nice to have)
  • PMP Certification (nice to have)
  • Organizational Management Experience (nice to have)
  • Overseas Work Experience (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end development of hardware (PlayStation consoles and peripherals) and software features, from concept to market launch
  • Manage a wide range of activities including LSI and hardware development processes, software development processes, and program success areas beyond product development
  • Manage risk, stakeholders, and communication to drive program success
  • Take responsibility for planning, tracking development progress, generating reports, and implementing processes to drive program releases
  • Proactively consider adjustments and make appropriate decisions to ensure program success
  • Work with various development teams and collaborate with PMOs and teams in the US and UK on international projects
  • Gain exposure to global cultures through collaboration and potential overseas travel
  • Adjust daily work style (remote or on-site) and working hours based on program schedules and team arrangements, respecting personal and family circumstances
