Requirements

Experience leading product teams responsible for planning and delivering experiences such as conversion-focused enterprise websites, apps and/or eCommerce solutions for industries such as manufacturing, automotive, retail or other B2B enterprises
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment; prioritizes features based on knowledge of the customer and impact to the business; analyzes and discusses strategic and tactical approaches with key stakeholders, often translating complicated technical concepts into simple, non-technical language; coaches others in decision-making models, processes, and practices; anticipates potential issues to enable effective decision-making when quick action is required
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors; adapts documents

Responsibilities

Leads a team of 6-8 experienced team members across roles such as Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts
Leads discovery, strategy and solution design activities for new customer-facing tools tied to product selection
Accountable for delivery of multiple new product selection tools within defined timelines and budgets
Manages prioritization of epics, features and enhancements for both existing and future state, with initial priority on new product builds
Partners upstream with Caterpillar's business units to understand marketing strategy, commercial plans and product priorities
Partners downstream with Application Engineering, Platform and AI teams to develop and deploy new features and new releases on schedule
Drives a culture of teamwork, inclusion & connection, and focuses on ensuring the team prioritizes meaningful, impactful work
