Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or suitable combination of education, experience, and training)
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management in foundational areas
  • Proven success and experience delivering clear executive level communications
  • Multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) experience preferred
  • Experience working across Infrastructure, Networking, Platform, Operations to build core platform products and make “build versus buy” decisions
  • Experience with Cloud Optimizations, Efficiency, and Metrics
  • Demonstrated usage of KPI, Metrics, and Data Driven to achieve Business Results
  • Well-versed in new tech advancements in cloud computing and networking
  • Technical expertise with ability to create a clear end-to-end roadmap
  • Experience building a culture and working in a large distributed organization
  • Proven track record of driving change and transformation in cloud networking, and edge compute engineering technologies, tools, and processes through metrics-driven, KPI-based methodologies, and an evidence-based continuous improvement approach

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts for Infrastructure Engineering to evolve Nike’s Global Technology infrastructure from ideation through to deployment and adoption
  • Plan, strategize, communicate, and manage delivery timelines for modern cloud infrastructure, networking, and security solutions to drive maximum business value and operational efficiencies
  • Translate business strategies and objectives into strategic direction and plans
  • Lead initiatives and develop talent
  • Problem solve to ensure successful delivery
  • Maintain strategic partnerships
  • Present the vision, strategies, and progress to Senior and Executive Leadership
  • Create and deliver capabilities through cross-functional partnership in areas of Retail, Digital, Logistics, Planning, Product, Manufacturing, and Marketing
  • Ensure innovation, scale, and security are embedded within the culture
  • Identify and assess technology trends and articulate technology recommendations
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop a clear vision, outcomes, and roadmap for future cloud and foundational capabilities, transforming the organization into Products and Platforms through Self-Service, Automation, Agentic, and AIOps
  • Partner with Engineering Leaders and Technical Product Management across multiple functions to develop a cohesive product strategy, product roadmap, and ensure business goals are met and exceeded
  • Deliver value based on a solid understanding of core IT operations, consumer needs, and insights
  • Champion the needs of partners serving Nike consumers
