Requirements

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience in AI security research, with a strong focus on vulnerability discovery and mitigation. Experience with AI models, AI infrastructure, and data usage is essential, along with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat landscapes.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Principal AI Security Researcher, you will discover and create proof of concepts for new security vulnerabilities related to AI Models, AI Infrastructure, and data usage, design practical product-level mitigations to prevent new and novel attacks on AI systems, leverage Palo Alto Network’s security data to derive new insights that will inform threat trends and protections needed for AI systems, serve as an AI security subject-matter expert when collaborating with Palo Alto Networks leadership and industry partners, and work from within the office of the NetSec CTO to provide research across the large Network Security portfolio at Palo Alto Networks.
