Works under general supervision but independently most of the time
Strong understanding of banking guidelines, procedures, policies, Northern Trust and Wealth Management Risk Management and Compliance guidelines
Expertise in setting up all types of client accounts and services, including reviewing documentation for completeness
Strong knowledge of various business applications critical to client and account servicing, including online tools, and ability to expand knowledge of latest enhancements to Northern Trust partner and client technology/systems
Keeps informed of all new products and services
Ability to interact with clients in person, via telephone, and email
Adherence to Wealth Management Lobby Banking Operations policies and procedures

Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional client service experience while servicing clients with a full range of banking products and services
Execute and/or submit administrative and operational activities related to clients, banking products, and services, including opening, maintaining, and servicing client accounts, money movement, preparing client materials and reports, resolving inquiries, and maintaining accurate recordkeeping
Provide maintenance and holistic advice on assigned relationships by cross-selling and identifying client needs
Understand the business model and engage appropriate business unit subject matter experts to explore potential opportunities with the client
Execute and/or submit client account servicing activities within appropriate time frames, including processing wires and fund transfers, opening/closing accounts, maintaining accurate records, imaging documents, and researching issues
Proactively communicate with relationship management and operations teams to obtain necessary information
Handle paying and receiving activities, including cash transactions and daily balancing
Assist with maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes where available
Serve as a mentor to fellow Bankers and help evolve processes, procedures, and operating environment of the Wealth Management team
Address activity requirements in a timely fashion, escalating issues/concerns to management
