Ability to deliver exceptional client service experience
Expertise in servicing clients with a full range of banking products and services
Proficiency in executing/submitting administrative and operational activities (e.g., opening/maintaining accounts, money movement, recordkeeping)
Skills in interacting with clients in person, via telephone, and email
Capability to handle universal banker tasks, including cash transactions via teller system
Strong understanding of banking guidelines, procedures, policies, Risk Management, and Compliance
Knowledge of business applications, online tools, and Northern Trust partner/client technology/systems
Ability to serve as a mentor to fellow Personal Bankers and contribute to process evolution
Office-based onsite performance required
Responsibilities
Understand the business model and engage appropriate business unit subject matter experts to explore client opportunities
Provide maintenance and holistic advice on assigned relationships by cross-selling and identifying client needs
Execute/submit client account servicing activities (e.g., wires/fund transfers, opening/closing accounts, record maintenance, document imaging, issue research) within appropriate time frames
Proactively communicate with relationship management and Operations teams for necessary information
Handle paying and receiving activities, including cash transactions and daily balancing; adhere to Wealth Management Lobby Banking Operations policies/procedures
Assist with maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes where available
Set up all types of client accounts and services; review documentation for completeness to avoid deficiencies
Maintain strong understanding of policies/procedures; address activities timely in adherence to guidelines, escalating issues to management
Maintain strong knowledge of critical business applications and expand knowledge of technology/system enhancements
