Requirements

  • Experience in programmatic management of medium to large scale strategic programs
  • Ability to develop, create, and implement global coordinated cross-functional project plans for commercialization initiatives
  • Expertise in product level program management, commercial program management, cross-product/technical site program management, and/or external partnerships
  • Capability to strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives adhering to organizational objectives
  • Experience overseeing multiple project teams to ensure commercialization program goals are reached
  • Focus on products in the Respiratory Franchise, specifically Nellcor product portfolio, Nell-EQ integration, and Sensors
  • Skills in leading or leveraging cross-functional teams for new product development and lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in overseeing operational aspects of projects and serving as liaison between project management, teams, and cross-functional management
  • Ability to review project status, budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports
  • Competence in monitoring projects from initiation through delivery
  • Skills in assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals
  • Experience developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention, and problem-solving
  • Expertise in gathering requirements, requirements planning, elicitation, and management to meet stakeholder demands
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and obtain engagement to ensure solutions address business problems
  • Proficiency in risk management, including identifying and mitigating program risks, and collaborating with other program managers on risks and opportunities
  • Capability to provide technical leadership in directing cross-functional project teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead or leverage cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies
  • Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and cross-functional teams management
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
  • Gather requirements, work on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders
  • Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure end products or processes solve business problems
  • Identify and mitigate program risks
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
  • Provide technical leadership in directing the efforts of cross-functional project teams
