Requirements

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in injection moulding plastic processing operations. They must be able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, and be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with specific restrictions on personal items and PPE requirements, including loud noises and standing for full shifts.

Responsibilities

The Sr Manufacturing Technician- Injection Moulding will be responsible for the running and upkeep of injection moulding machinery and equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and meets specifications while achieving production targets. This includes maintaining equipment, carrying out mechanical and electrical work, assisting in training, ensuring safe working practices, liaising with management, setting equipment to standards, minimizing material wastage, and changing over equipment for various production runs. They will also be responsible for accurately recording data, ensuring compliance with quality specifications, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives, and adhering to company rules and regulations while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
