Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s degree preferred
  • Seven (7) years of related experience (minimum); Ten (10) years preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate capital asset forecasts and equipment, including upgrade and replacement plans for production equipment and facilities systems
  • Lead the development of technical compliance, assessment and development practices in accordance with existing SOPs, WIs, SFTs, etc
  • Develop and implement major improvement programs in areas of quality, output, yield, and cost reduction
  • Interface with customers and strategic customer teams to ensure customer needs are understood and met, including customer transitions both into and out of the site
  • Coordinate the implementation of Engineering metrics and standardization in line with SOPs, WIs, and SFTs
  • Exemplify and hold the team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values
  • Focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering team(s) from a functional perspective
  • Manage the Manufacturing Engineering function in line with functional specific strategies, process and systems development, people development, employee relations, plant level metrics
