Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
Preferred: Advanced Degree in life sciences or medical specialty (OD, M.D. or PhD)
Preferred: Bi-Lingual with English and Spanish
Preferred: People leadership/management experience

Responsibilities

Lead the America’s Medical Promotional review team and execute the medical strategy through medical review of advertising and promotional materials for Alcon’s therapeutic areas/domains
Manage therapeutic area assignments, workflow management, and training for medical reviewers
Ensure the scientific accuracy, clinical information, and bio-statistical validity of content and claims in the promotional materials
Assure accuracy and compliance with labeling of promotional and advertising materials across all therapeutic areas
Engage and collaborate with Global, International, and local marketing, regulatory, legal and compliance teams
Lead Americas medical promotional reviewer team to produce an adequately resourced, high quality, high value Medical AdPromo review function
Manage team workflow and geographic and therapeutic area assignments
Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders
Serve as the point of contact for Americas/International promotional review operations team for routine and escalated problem solving
Ensure medical review team is appropriately trained to undertake high quality and accurate review across relevant therapeutic areas
Work with cross-functional team supporting review of advertising and promotional materials and with Medical Director in assigned therapeutic areas to optimize effectiveness and mitigate risk of promotional claims
Manage and report MAP review Metrics to objectively support workflow and bandwidth management of team members
