Requirements

Candidates must have at least 4 years of Shopify Plus Development Experience, with in-depth knowledge of Shopify themes, apps, and custom integrations. Experience with version control systems, testing, deployment processes, web-based architecture, modern frameworks, and coding structures is required. Proficiency in Liquid, Web Components, and React is necessary, along with a strong understanding of Shopify APIs, data models, and content management. Familiarity with common e-commerce integrations and solutions is expected. Back-end experience with Node, Ruby On Rails, or PHP, and project/team lead experience are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Sr-Lead Shopify Developer will strategically assess business requirements and UX/UI to provide solutions aligning with technical best practices and project goals. Responsibilities include supporting project leads in discovery, estimation, technical planning, and agile/sprint cycles, as well as assisting contributing developers through peer programming, estimation, and code reviews. The role involves staying updated on industry trends, incorporating best practices into the e-commerce strategy, completing technical audits, and serving as the point of contact for architectural questions regarding Shopify best practices, performance, and data management.
