Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of EDR/XDR tools, especially CrowdStrike Falcon
  • Expert level experience with endpoint configuration management using tools such as Active Directory Group Policies and Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with various different operating systems in both IT and OT environments, including both modern and legacy assets
  • Familiarity with different security frameworks, configuration recommendations such as the CIS Benchmarks and various cybersecurity related auditing controls and requirements
  • Experience with identity protection and operationalizing finds from various security tools
  • Ability to explain technical details to IT and business leadership with a focus on encouraging technical changes or investment where appropriate
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field (equivalent work experience considered acceptable)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with endpoint security, related tools and technologies in both IT and OT environments (CrowdStrike experience highly desirable)
  • Expert-level experience managing endpoint configurations in a complex, heterogeneous environment with varying levels of regulatory requirements
  • Experience with cybersecurity level audits, audit requirements and ability to proactively ensure audit requirements are met for relevant configuration elements
  • Experience in automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
  • Strong proactive analytical and problem-solving skills in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for action
  • Ability to act both independently and as a part of a team in a highly international, matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail
  • Certifications not required, but encouraged: CISSP, or other security-related certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical direction of our EDR/XDR platform and related technologies through roadmap development, assessment of progress opportunities, and exploration of new tools and technologies
  • Work closely with both the Endpoint Services and Infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate cybersecurity related configurations and controls are applied to our diverse footprint of devices
  • Ensure information and events from the various tools is being used effectively to protect the security of the company’s technical environment
  • Collaborate with other architects, engineers and stakeholders to improve the overall security posture by acting as the lead consultant for security related items within the endpoint space
  • Responsible for overall enterprise security architecture, roadmaps and security solutions architecture
  • Serve as the technical lead for endpoint security related tools, technologies and configurations in a large, complex, international enterprise
