Proficiency in HL7 v2, FHIR R4, API-based integrations, and clinical data standards is required. Experience with EHRs such as Epic, Cerner, or Flatiron, familiarity with Unix command-line and Git, and the ability to edit short Java programs or Python scripts are necessary. Hands-on experience with data transformation, validation, ETL tools, interface engines, strong SQL skills, experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0), and an understanding of HIPAA and PHI data security are also required. Experience with monitoring and logging tools, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
