Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
3+ years of experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments
Strong proficiency in Linux and batch/shell scripting
Hands-on experience with the Slurm workload manager, scalable storage solutions, and troubleshooting server/hardware issues
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
Experience with container development and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and source control systems like Git and SVN
Solid knowledge of HTTP protocols, Linux networking, and developing scalable solutions
Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of security compliance, databases, and monitoring tools is a plus

Responsibilities

Be a leader on a software development and system administration/devops team, working with team members around the world to deliver world-class solutions
Significant hands-on experience with distributed system and HPC environment
Experience with newest hardware for computation, training and storage
Experience running small projects and capable of driving feature requests and bugs to closure
Must be able to work independently when necessary
Participate in code/sprint reviews and assist team peers
24/7 on-call as needed for emergencies and customer release windows
