Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
Demonstrated experience as an Azure/Intra Cloud administrator or engineer
Extensive knowledge in Azure cloud services, Power BI, and hybrid cloud setups
Proficiency in core Azure services like Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Knowledge of Azure security tools and features like Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and understanding of network security, conditional access management, identity management, threat protection, and data protection in Azure
Proficiency in Azure data services like Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks for big data analytics
Understanding of Azure network resource deployment and administration (VNETs, Subnets, Gateways, Load Balancers, Firewalls, ExpressRoute, VPN, etc.)
Skills in migrating applications and data to Azure, understanding of Azure Migrate and other tools for cloud migration
Familiarity with Azure AI and machine learning services like Azure Machine Learning Service, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Bot Service
Experience migrating VMs and physical servers/workstations to and from on premises
Cloud & on-premises server patch management
VMware, Azure VM, AWS Virtual Cloud Services administration experience
Active Directory, DNS, DFS, Exchange Hybrid admin experience
Managing and supporting legacy on premise enterprise applications on windows servers
Proficiency in cloud security, networking, and disaster recovery methodologies
Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills, coupled with strong leadership capabilities
Administrative experience in AWS a plus
Storage technology experience cloud and on premise (ex: Pure, Cohesity)

Responsibilities

Design and deploy sophisticated Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), guaranteeing scalability, robustness, and integration across multiple Azure tenants
Refine Azure resources for optimal cost, performance, and scalability. Creating automations that spin up/down resources on demand
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for streamlined Azure operations and deployments. Terraform knowledge is desirable
Seamlessly integrate Azure services with current infrastructure to support hybrid cloud functionalities
Offer expertise in Power BI for advanced data modeling, visualization, and analytics
Lead Azure-based disaster recovery strategies and their execution
Execution of Azure virtual machine patch management strategies
Participation in the teams on call rotation and responsible for resolving incidents during engineers working hours
Other duties as assigned
