Responsibilities

  • Serve as program owner partnering with Target business units to ensure new equipment and modifications to existing equipment in new/legacy buildings comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and accredited standards (e.g., OSHA/ANSI)
  • Integrate safety systems into the design of new and existing equipment
  • Partner with design and engineering teams (e.g., Engineering/Automation, Operations Solution Design, Activation, Engineering/Facilities, Field Operations) and other key stakeholders
  • Lead risk assessment processes (RAP) and assist in the development/review of equipment designs
  • Provide guidance on requirements for controls and closing findings
  • Support clients by leading projects through the entire go-live process (from design to activation)
  • Ensure all risk and compliance obligations are reflected within key HQ programs and establish proper risk tolerance for the organization
  • Work with HQ partners to develop and influence key safety programs/standards, including establishing/sustaining a strong safety culture
  • Develop a strategic project plan to deploy digestible safety programs/standards to the field, aligning to industry and regulatory standards
  • Ensure alignment with the business during deployment and support the development of safety standards and training
