Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience managing more than one team of developers, 8+ years of production application development and backend server experience, and developing microservices at scale. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) is required, along with proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Rust, Go, or Rails. Experience with implementing best practices for incorporating AI into user flows and familiarity with standard development tools and processes like Github Workflows, Git, and JIRA are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer Manager will lead the development and production releases of robust, observable, and intuitive solutions and workflows for healthcare Audit product lines, manage and grow a team of developers who own the backend services and tools for Machinify’s Audit product, develop plans and track production features for on-time quality releases, understand and address bottlenecks to increase team velocity, measure impact through metrics, and collaborate with various stakeholders including product managers, other engineering teams, and customers. They will also own projects aligned with the product development strategy and influence the direction of the underlying platform to ensure it is extensible, scalable, and secure.
