Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on distributed systems and infrastructure. Experience with Go programming language is required, as is a deep understanding of cloud technologies and serverless architectures. Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and log management solutions is preferred.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for working in a team to contribute to the development of new features and solutions, participating in scoping, designing, and delivering solutions to complex problems. You will also be involved in scaling LogScale fleets, developing supporting services in Go, ensuring high availability and utilization, and communicating technical decisions through documentation and technical talks. Furthermore, you will provide technical advice, research new technologies, and mentor team members.
