At least 9 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration, with expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date
Proven history of building products and experiences for data scientists and software developers
Excellent familiarity with emerging infrastructure and tooling for AI/ML application developers
Prior experience as a software engineer or data scientist with several years as a technical Product Manager and leader of product management teams
Proficiency in Capital One Product Framework: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, Transformational Leadership

Responsibilities

Lead a product team spanning the Machine Learning and Generative AI platforms at Capital One
Be responsible for the core platform services for AI/ML platform that powers mission critical business applications
Partner with technology, risk, security, and business teams to monitor platform performance, identify issues, and support resilience
Set the strategy and priorities grounded in technical understanding and user experience
Sit in the shoes of the user (data scientists and engineers) and measure the benefits of more powerful, faster capabilities and from a better developer experience
