Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Proven success building and scaling high-performing technical teams, including organizational design, hiring, and mentorship
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, senior technical leaders, and decision-makers
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and AI/ML workloads, with hands-on experience guiding customers through solution design, architecture reviews, and POCs
  • Track record of driving post-sales success and long-term customer engagements, helping organizations optimize architecture, utilization, and economics
  • Experience developing solutions

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and mentor a world-class Solutions Engineering team, while serving as a hands-on player-coach who actively engages in customer conversations, technical discovery, POCs, and post-sales deployments when required
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, senior technical leaders, and decision-makers across startups, digitally native businesses, and enterprises
  • Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architecture reviews during pre-sales cycles, while establishing a scalable engagement framework with formal POC methodologies, discovery protocols, and success criteria
  • Guide customers through proof-of-concept and evaluation phases, helping them validate Crusoe’s differentiated performance, price, and scalability
  • Post-deal, provide technical guidance to optimize AI workloads and improve efficiency, ensuring customers maximize the value of Crusoe’s infrastructure
  • Develop and articulate solutions that deliver better price-performance, lower TCO, and more efficient AI infrastructure utilization, while creating reference architectures and deployment patterns that simplify adoption and scaling
  • Partner with Sales to accelerate adoption and close transformative deals by providing technical credibility, competitive positioning, and ROI/TCO justification
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities and establish a voice-of-the-customer feedback loop to ensure learnings from POCs and customer engagements directly inform product direction
