Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial leadership, encompassing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and investment decisions
  • Lead the annual strategic and financial planning processes
  • Manage month-end closures including reporting, forecasting, and proactive financial management to identify business risks and opportunities for mitigation, ensuring predictable financial outcomes
  • Drive detailed & standardized financial reporting and business metrics to support sound investment decisions, profitable growth, and financial accountability
  • Prioritize investments effectively to drive return on capital
  • Collaborate with world-wide commercial teams to maintain pricing discipline and achieve share gain
  • Conduct detailed analytics to efficiently manage middle-of-the-P&L (OCOGS)
  • Ensure attainment of R&D project business cases to enhance shareholder returns
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a diverse global team of finance professionals
  • Offer exceptional financial and strategic support to the V.P./General Manager and other members of the Business Unit leadership team
  • Collaborate effectively with LSMS global commercial sales, manufacturing operations, marketing, HR, R&D, and IT teams to drive enhancements in pricing, sales strategies, market entry, new product introductions, business solutions, and manufacturing operations
  • Foster an environment that both challenges and supports with mentorship and strategic insights
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mentality welcoming external perspectives that progress the finance organization's agenda
  • Ensure compliance and accounting-controllership are integrated into business decisions, in line with company policies, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley
