Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or similar
  • Proven background in overseeing Communications, Public Relations, or Corporate Affairs at a large enterprise
  • Strong understanding of, and powerful established relationships within, French external landscape
  • Strong ability to handle crisis prevention & management
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Fluency (written and verbal) in French & English
  • Digital Fluency, including Gen AI application to communications (plus)
  • Previous experience working at a large international company (preferred)
  • Previous work experience and/or cultural understanding of Belgium and Netherlands (beneficial)

Responsibilities

  • Manage P&G’s overall reputation building & public affairs strategy across FBNL and within key communications deliverables
  • Maintain an enterprise view of all activities in market, identifying synergies and resolving conflicts
  • Deliver strategies that integrate brands, as well as executive & employee communications components
  • Assimilate priorities from the Regional Communications Action Plan into local Communications plans
  • Serve as the face of P&G during issues & crisis, including crisis prevention and management
  • Identify & supervise Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including projects across community Impact, Environmental Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Develop and maintain strategic stakeholders’ network & relationships such as Media, Industry Associations, Consumer Associations, NGOs
  • Manage internal communications and employee engagement including during transformation periods
  • Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of 4-8 communications professionals

What compensation and benefits are offered for this role?

P&G offers a competitive salary benchmarked annually against market standards and adjusted based on performance and impact, plus STAR as an additional annual variable compensation for short-term achievements. Additional benefits include a company car or payment in lieu, 25 paid vacation days + 2 split vacation days, and 13 RTT days.

What is the work from home or remote policy?

The role allows Work from Home: 1 day per week for the first 6 months, then up to 2 days per week.
