Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP preferred)
Proficient in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes
Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, Go
Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration in Linux environments
Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on automation, configuration management, and cost optimization
Develop and implement tools for monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance tuning of applications and infrastructure
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible
Ensure high availability, security, and redundancy across cloud and on-prem systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA) to streamline development processes
Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
Implement monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
