  • 4+ years of relevant contract management work experience

  • Strong experience negotiating agreements with customers and external counsel

  • Understanding of contract law and legal verbiage

  • Experience working in a startup, SaaS, software or digital company is a huge asset
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to articulate legal terms with non-legal teams
  • Resourceful, independent, and good-natured with strong communication skills and a solid level of legal ability

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate and coordinate new and existing agreements, including renewals, amendments and terminations with customers, partners and 3rd party vendors (e.g., SaaS Agreements, DPAs, Order Forms, NDAs, purchase agreements, partnership agreements)
  • Manage and monitor the full life-cycle contractual process from creation to signing, tracking and archiving
  • Support sales cycle processes by negotiating commercial and contractual outcomes with Sales and in pre-renewals with customer success
  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams on IT, Data Privacy & Security topics
  • Coordinate, manage and organize a portfolio of contracts supporting the business, as well as stakeholder reviews, escalations, and approvals
  • Liaise with executive staff, customers, departments across the organization and external legal support
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment on risk allocation, contract structures, approvals, and deadlines
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal policies and processes
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to help negotiate, review and support on deals as needed
