Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess expert-level shell scripting (Bash/Zsh) with automation and system administration experience, along with proficiency in Python. A deep understanding of operating system fundamentals, cloud platform experience with AWS services and architecture patterns, database expertise with both SQL and NoSQL systems at scale, message queue experience (Kafka, Redis, or similar), and container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes preferred) are required. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of backend development experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Content Engineer will be responsible for building, operating, and maintaining a global-scale content authoring and publication pipeline, including designing and building content validation, integrity, and quality gates. Responsibilities include authoring new content such as scripts, binaries, and dashboards, preparing content for publication, and validating content quality manually or via automation. The role also involves creating and managing content DSLs, working with 3rd party content providers, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance publication and consumption services. The engineer will also participate in architecture decisions for next-generation platform capabilities.
