Responsibilities

Oversee field execution: manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with design documents and Galaxy’s standards
Coordinate contractors and vendors: direct general contractors, trade partners, and vendors to ensure alignment with project milestones, quality expectations, and safety protocols
Support commissioning and turnover: collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support system commissioning, testing, and seamless turnover of facilities
Drive safety culture: enforce Galaxy’s safety standards and partner with internal and contractor safety teams to maintain a zero-incident work environment
Manage schedules and progress: monitor construction progress against the master schedule, identify potential delays, and coordinate mitigation strategies to maintain critical timelines
Quality assurance: ensure all construction activities meet Galaxy’s QA/QC standards and design specifications, and escalate issues as needed
Document and issue resolution: lead site-based resolution of RFIs, field issues, and change management processes in coordination with engineering and project controls
Support procurement and logistics: coordinate delivery of materials and equipment
