Requirements

Candidates should have production experience with AWS and Kubernetes, along with good working knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Git. Familiarity with supporting production applications in the cloud, experience with monitoring tools, frameworks, and processes, and working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines are required. Programming experience, preferably in Python, and a good grasp of networking and security concepts are also necessary. Linux Systems Administration experience is essential, and scripting experience (Python, Bash), working knowledge of GitLab CI, Ansible, and Packer, Splunk operational knowledge, and strong interest or experience with containerization and automation are considered nice to have.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will manage and improve existing infrastructure, build the next generation of the platform with a focus on high-availability and disaster-recovery, and streamline and automate deployment processes for both infrastructure and applications. This role involves working closely with the Security team to manage potential threats and patches, providing tools and guidance to engineers and product teams to improve scalability, stability, and reliability, and sharing knowledge and experience to help grow the engineering team.
