Position Overview

The OEM Sr. Business Analyst is a collaborative, cross-departmental position responsible for the organization and task creation of projects for Dealer Inspire’s OEM Brand Programs. This position serves as the crucial link between our Development team and our Program Management team, ensuring communication, expectations, and priorities are aligned for flawless execution.

Our brand partners rely on integrations that form the foundation for the operation of their dealer network and websites. These integrations can include, but are not limited to, Inventory, Analytics, Leads, and Tagging. The OEM Sr. Business Analyst will be the primary driver in ensuring the team possesses the necessary details related to project scope, project timeline, technical requirements, and definition of success.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external clients to identify and understand desired enhancements or modifications, gathering and documenting requirements for proposed solutions/system functionality.
  • Assists with project planning by ensuring expectations are clearly stated, communicated, and documented.
  • Provides input into project management concerning the scope, impacts, and risks of gathered requirements.
  • Collaborates with business and development teams on various items, including creating testing plans, system execution, and production defect management.
  • Participates in the final implementation and integration of solutions by monitoring project progress, tracking development and implementation activities, ensuring the solution meets business and brand partner needs, and publishing progress reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a business analyst role.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance demand and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with requirements gathering, process, system and data analysis, and solution definition with a customer focus.
  • Understanding of how data can flow between systems via integrations/APIs/ETL.
