Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with five years of related experience OR Associates Degree with six or more equivalent years of related experience OR high school diploma with eight or more equivalent years of related experience
  • Preferred: 5+ years of Agile experience
  • Preferred: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Responsibilities

  • Define and document software requirements
  • Gather product feedback from internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Produce elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, or other detailed deliverables
  • Facilitate and participate in risk analysis, including failure mode and effects analysis
  • Author design transfer documentation to be consumed by internal and external customers
  • Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the Quality Management System with focus on requirements in the design and development process
  • Mentor and train junior business analysts
  • Guide and coach cross-functional teams to excellence
  • Facilitate team meetings and scrum ceremonies
  • Protect the team from distractions and interruptions
  • Represent, advocate, and shepherd customer voices; ensure products meet diverse and competing needs
  • Facilitate discussions between Product Owner, Stakeholders, and Development Team to define full scope of requirements and balance with technical understanding
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and facilitation skills; work interdependently with the team and challenge the status quo to reach successful business outcomes
