Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competition, and financing, usually acquired through formal education and experience
  • Knowledge of investments, trust, and financial consulting concepts to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Skills in negotiation, leadership, and sales to develop client, prospect, and partner relationships

Responsibilities

  • Develops new relationships, identifies prospects, and develops marketing strategies for specific clients
  • Manages complex wealth management banking credit and treasury management client relationships and identifies opportunities external to banking in investment and fiduciary areas
  • Structures and negotiates complex loan and/or lease agreements according to guidelines established by senior bank and business unit management
  • Analyzes and negotiates terms of loans (e.g., special pricing conditions, interest rates, Swaps) according to Credit Policy Committee guidelines; oversees and negotiates preparation of financing agreement documentation
  • Advises and consults with clients related to Goals Driven Wealth Management
  • Generates leads through established relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and cultivates a network of additional COIs
  • Provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners as a subject area expert at a high technical level
  • Carries out large-scope, cross-functional, and technically difficult activities
  • Balances high-level operational execution with development and execution of strategic direction for business function activities
  • Engages in direct interaction with committees and/or management
  • Strategically develops, implements, and administers programs within functional areas
  • Leads others to solve complex problems
