Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or the physical sciences
Minimum 4 years quality management experience in MTO quality operations role
Experience in a manufacturing environment in highly regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceutical, optics, automotive, aerospace)
Experience in NCR process (control of non-conforming product)
Experience communicating with engineers and production team on CAPA process (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
Technical background in mechanical/technical drawings and operational quality
ISO 9001 (highly preferred), ISO 13485 (most preferred)
Able to interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T) – nice to have
Full Australia work rights

Responsibilities

Ensures the quality of the final product through testing and manufacturing controls; review and approve final product documentation
Assists in monitoring, collating, analyzing, and presenting quality data as it relates to manufacturing processes
Initiate or approve non-conformance reports, lead investigations, and manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs)
Raise quality issues on any processes or product which is not conforming to requirements
Serve as quality liaison with engineering, operations, regulatory, and clinical teams for product rollouts and compliance matters
