  • Strong technical skills in engineering/ process safety management experience leading a technical team, and in managing cross-functional areas
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects
  • Experience dealing with vendors and consultants as needed for projects

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring effective communication between automated systems' mechanical, electrical, and software elements
  • Oversee the planning and execution of control systems designs and monitor system performance, ensuring smooth and efficient automated processes
  • Test and analyze control systems to ensure compliance to GMP/GXP procedures, process functionality and safety
  • Troubleshoot potential issues and diagnose malfunctions, engaging in proactive problem-solving to mitigate system failures
  • Maintaining and improving systems while focusing on enhancing efficiency, improving user experience, and reducing downtime
  • Identify, design and implement improvements to machine and processes related to the infrastructure of contact lens manufacturing
  • Participation on capital projects including management of associated internal resources and validation
  • Troubleshoot and correct issues related to Infrastructure and facility supporting processes
  • Provide expert level support and work with various organizations on key processes
  • Execute protocols and continuous improvement support for site initiative and prepare documentation related to procedures, training, work instructions, validation, etc
  • Providing periodic support to the business outside of normal working hours, including participation in the On-Call support cycle as needed
  • Perform corrective actions, and preventive actions identified through CAPAs, internal and external audits, and gap assessments
