Position Overview

Join PatientPoint as a Senior Analyst within our Decision Science team. In this role, you will tackle complex business questions using advanced analytical methods to help clients understand PatientPoint as a critical marketing partner. You will leverage strong analytical abilities and relationship-building skills to collaborate internally and across the company, providing clients with strong analytical evidence to address their needs. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in commercial analytics within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying Business Questions: Independently work with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and develop analytical approaches to address them.
  • Executing Analysis: Prepare data and execute analyses for clients using SQL, Excel, R, Python, or similar tools.
  • Presenting Findings: Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to internal teams, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Statistical Familiarity: Utilize statistical methods and advanced analytics techniques, interpreting the business impact of statistical results.
  • Functional Area Management: Plan, execute, and deliver results to internal teams.
  • Expand Team Knowledge: Proactively introduce new analytical methods to the Decision Science team to enhance client need fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of statistical analysis.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Demonstrated skills in Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint (intermediate), and Word (intermediate).
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one analytical programming language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex analytical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, statistics, healthcare economics, business intelligence, or related fields.
  • Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting a Sales team is preferred.
