Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer with at least 3 years of applied AI/ML experience. Proficiency in using relevant AI tools within the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC), such as GitHub Copilot or JetBrains AI Assistant, is required. Demonstrated experience integrating commercial Large Language Model (LLM) APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) into software applications is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining AI-driven enterprise applications, specifically focusing on integrating and optimizing commercial and open-source LLM APIs. They will collaborate with product managers and designers to identify AI opportunities and deliver intuitive user experiences. The role involves developing and maintaining robust backend services and APIs, continuously improving AI model evaluation processes, enhancing internal AI developer tools, troubleshooting complex issues, and participating in incident response efforts. Furthermore, they will lead efforts to establish AI engineering best practices and contribute to overall system performance and reliability.
