Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Ability to work in a hybrid position with expectation of days in office (confirmed by hiring manager)
  • Availability for work hours that vary upon the needs of the department
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time
  • Ability to perform in an office setting, including sitting/standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and operating standard office equipment such as telephones and computers

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting deliverables
  • Drive transformation through automation and process enhancements to streamline operations, reduce close timelines, and implement scalable automations and AI-powered solutions
  • Ensure robust internal controls and SOX compliance, supporting audit readiness and documentation excellence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Finance Systems, and operational teams to simplify and scale financial processes
  • Support SEC reporting by assisting in preparing quarterly reporting packages that feed into external filings
  • Oversee critical accounting functions including Leases, Revenue, and Corporate Services, while shaping the future of the general ledger team
