Requirements

Expertise in IND AS (Indian Accounting Standards) for financial reporting and statutory statements
Experience managing month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews, and reporting
Ability to prepare local statutory financial statements and lead/coordinate statutory audits with external auditors and internal stakeholders
Knowledge of local compliance activities, including ECB (External Commercial Borrowings) filing
Skills in liaising with corporate secretarial agents
Analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills for process improvement initiatives
Advisory capability on India local regulatory compliances and accounting
Ability to support Tax Team with data requests

Responsibilities

Manage operational and month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews, and associated reporting for IND AS
Prepare local statutory financial statements in IND AS and lead/coordinate the statutory audit by liaising with external auditor and internal stakeholders
Manage local compliance activities in relation to financial reporting, including ECB filing
Liaise with corporate secretarial agent
Identify, drive, and/or participate in process improvement initiatives by applying analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Provide advisory on India local regulatory compliances and accounting, where required
Support Tax Team on data requests
