Requirements

  • Ability to maintain or obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • BS degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent discipline with 2 to 4 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of the space domain and orbital mechanics
  • Ability to develop and maintain operational procedures and training materials
  • Experience with creating and presenting briefings
  • Ability to occasionally work odd and/or extended hours
  • Experience making decisions in high pressure environments
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • (Preferred) MS degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent discipline
  • (Preferred) Strong technical background in orbital mechanics and astrodynamics
  • (Preferred) Operational space experience with rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) or formation flight
  • (Preferred) Expertise with the mission planning process

Responsibilities

  • Conducting on-orbit space vehicle operations
  • Performing mission planning and risk analysis
  • Delivering high-level briefings with recommended courses of action
  • Developing and maintaining operational procedures and processes
  • Creating and delivering training products
  • Investigating and diagnosing unexpected system performance
  • Leading anomaly resolution
  • Supporting system maintenance coordination and execution
