Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding owned brand/private label products in Vitamins & Nutrition category
  • Leverage proximity, innovation, and strategic vendor partnerships in Western Hemisphere source base
  • Develop products with positive impact on people and planet, integrating sourcing with quality and social responsibility
  • Start at earliest stages of product development, build costing models, and track production cycle from overseas shipping to stores
  • Manage global relationships in partnership with buying team
  • Monitor suppliers’ activities to ensure compliance with responsible practices and influence manufacturer selection
  • Serve as close point-of-contact with Target team members in sourcing offices in 20 countries
  • Support sourcing offices as liaisons among buyers, product developers, and overseas partners
  • Execute strategies to advance world-class sourcing and business partner strategies
