Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Logistics); MBA a plus
Minimum 5 years in Sourcing required (Personal Care, Pharmaceutical industry or Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred)
Experience managing RFI/RFP workflow through to Supplier Business award and Contract Negotiation required
Knowledge and understanding of cost drivers and ability to apply within negotiations, development of strategies and cost improvement opportunities
Ability to travel approximately 10-20% with overnight stays

Responsibilities

Drive the development and execution of sourcing strategy from RFI/RFP creation, leading supplier negotiations, global stakeholder management to business award and Master Agreement implementation
Serve as department lead on COST and SERVICE improvement initiatives working closely with each sourcing and purchasing associate, as well as cross-functional teams
Successfully lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives with key strategic suppliers in support of Business Transformation goals (cost savings, lead-time and minimum order quantity reduction, increased inventory turns, and improved processes)
Lead, manage, and influence projects to successful completion (e.g., Supplier transitions, Cost reduction initiatives)
Identify and execute risk mitigation and security of supply strategies that will prevent disruption of critical supply
