Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, production, or supply chain management (fashion/apparel industry preferred)
  • Proven experience in vendor management and factory sourcing (Asia markets a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and compliance standards
  • Skilled in cost negotiation, margin management, and logistics coordination
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent in Korean and business-level English

Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendor/factory partners (domestic and international)
  • Research and source cost-competitive factories in key countries of origin (Vietnam, India, China, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure reliable and repeat production
  • Negotiate costs, MOQs, and lead times to meet margin targets
  • Track production costs to ensure alignment with budget and profitability goals
  • Control cost per sample/design to ensure efficient prototyping
  • Oversee end-to-end production timelines from sample development to bulk delivery
  • Manage cross-border logistics, ensuring smooth shipment and delivery
  • Troubleshoot production risks/issues proactively to minimize delays
  • Oversee QA/QC processes across samples, inline, and final inspections
  • Ensure all factories comply with ethical, social, and quality standards
  • Manage compliance documentation, certifications, and audit processes
  • Handle day-to-day vendor communication and order tracking
  • Monitor ongoing production status and provide updates to internal teams
  • Partner with HBX e-commerce team to maximize launch visibility, traffic, and conversion
  • Collaborate with Hypebeast editorial teams for content placement and exposure
  • Coordinate with the Hypebeast project team on collaboration and physical events opportunities
