Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent education

Responsibilities

Design, development, and maintenance of applications that provide services and solutions to business partners
Translate functional requirements into technical solution design and architecture
Provide guidance for technical decisions being made within software development initiatives
Create new code and work with existing code to provide well-designed technical solutions
Implement new technologies and provide thought leadership to evolve technical design and development patterns
Develop application and technical architecture for complex application software
Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of technical solutions
Introduce architectural, design, and implementation standards
Work with business partners to understand functional requirements and develop technical strategies
Be accountable for the delivery of architecturally sound solutions
Maintain currency in relevant technology trends and industry developments
Maintain current vendor products
Identify performance and/or reliability related technical issues
Ensure that solutions conform to established standards of architecture and quality
Be responsible for key technical components including design, architecture, and technology strategy
Provide leadership in the planning of development activities
