Requirements

  • High School diploma or Trade School certification in construction, building sciences, engineering, or architecture preferred
  • Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification or experience in Energy Efficiency strongly preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience in construction, building sciences, or a related field; experience in estimating, site auditing, or photovoltaic installation preferred
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office and various applications; strong willingness to learn new technologies, including online platforms like Dropbox and Salesforce (CRM), on various devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone)
  • Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, or under mobile homes
  • General knowledge of energy-saving material installations and the associated tools
  • Must be flexible based on customer availability
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to move through the pre-employment screening process
  • Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures)
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics
  • While performing duties, regularly required to speak and hear; frequently requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the commissioning and activation of solar PV systems, ensuring proper system functionality
  • Perform necessary tasks for system activation, addressing any required corrections and collaborating with technicians or subcontractors to resolve issues
  • Prepare equipment for activation, including opening electrical and solar equipment, setting up ladders, and fulfilling other activation requirements
  • Engage with customers daily, upholding PosiGen's high standards of service and professionalism
  • Utilize an application-based platform to capture and upload photos to the project management database
  • Provide daily project updates and status reports to ensure consistent communication
  • Coordinate with town officials and customers to schedule required inspections
  • Effectively communicate and schedule with customers and homeowners for timely project completion
  • Support installation teams as needed to ensure seamless project execution
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the manager, contributing to efficient operations
  • Adhere to organizational policies and safety procedures, including OSHA compliance and completing necessary training
  • Participate in required training and meetings, ensuring knowledge of safety protocols and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
