Requirements

  • Experience with automotive industry test hardware such as: dSpace, vTest Studio, Speedgoat, Typhoon, Opel-RT
  • Proficiency in Simulink, Stateflow, and other Simulink toolboxes
  • Proficiency in Python, python libraries
  • Experience using source control tools such as git or svn
  • Experience using issue tracking systems such as jira, bugzilla, or similar
  • Experience using requirements database tools such as Jamma, Visure, polarion, DOORs

Responsibilities

  • Test Automotive ECUs against systems and software requirements
  • Develop and specify hardware systems and develop frameworks for automated testing of vehicle control and user interface ECUs
  • Work closely with systems and software engineers to ensure in-house developed software works reliably in-vehicle
  • Participate in the design of Vehicle software specifications, and internal software infrastructure development
  • Specify requirements for Automotive hardware test systems including I/O, communications, processing throughput, and memory
  • Develop test-framework software for executing and automating test-cases using a combination of off-the-shelf and in-house developed tools
  • Author test cases against software requirements for unit and integration tests for Electric Vehicle ECUs
  • Author software requirements derived from Vehicle system level specifications
  • Document issues uncovered by testing Automotive ECUs for resolution
  • Troubleshoot hardware test systems and Vehicle ECUs using common electrical tools
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD systems
  • Manage promotion of vehicle software packages to release status
