Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, data science or a related field
Minimum 2 years of SQA experience in cloud software testing
Domain Knowledge in molecular biology and hands on experience in bioinformatics tools (plus)
Familiarity with CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and related tools such as Git, Jenkins
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or others
Experience writing verification plans, test cases, defects reports, executing & managing test cases using test cases management system and writing verification reports
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify potential issues and provide solutions

Responsibilities

Work with software engineers and bioinformatics scientists to understand analysis algorithms and architect & develop automated test solution(s)
Create detailed test cases that cover various scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and security
Automate test cases for RESTful APIs and conduct end-to-end testing of web application
Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
Prepare necessary test artifacts required for formal software / product release
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality
Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by participating in reviews, inspections, and audits
